September 15^th, 2025, marks the 23^rd annual Roberto Clemente Day, celebrating the baseball legend and humanitarian. As a 15-time All-Star and 2-time World Series Champion, Clemente’s on-field prowess was unquestionable, but it was his off-field efforts that stood as a testament to his legacy. It was in these efforts, while delivering aid to earthquake victims in Nicaragua, Clemente perished when his plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean shortly after takeoff.
